Kimberly and Mark first met in 2022 when Mark approached her at a bar. Kim couldn’t resist his wit, charm, and muscular physique. Just kidding of course, we all know that doesn’t happen anymore and Mark has a dad bod…they met on a dating app, like adults. Their first date was at Tiny Tapp alongside the Chicago River where they had 1 drink and conversed for about an hour. Each other’s presence felt natural and easy from the get-go. In classic real estate fashion, Kim had to head home and resume working, so Mark politely offered to walk her home. Kim even more politely declined, “No thanks, I’m good,” she said. They proceeded to go on several more dates over the ensuing weeks until a life event occurred. Kim decided she may want to move to Charlotte as she recently had family members relocate there. She did the right thing and told Mark they needed to stop seeing each other as she didn’t want to get too close and then move 700 miles away. They thought about each other (allegedly), but did not speak for quite some time. Fast forward a few months… Mark never checks his personal email or social media, but one day, he did, and saw an email that Kim added him on Facebook. Mark reached out to her to see how she was doing and happily learned she opted to stay in Chicago. Kim and Mark went out for dinner that week and have been inseparable ever since. After 2 years together, 1 year living under the same roof (Kim deserves a medal), 1 dog, and having passed the vacation test (6 countries across 3 continents), Kim and Mark could not imagine life without one another.
